New York SPSA Passes Legislation on PS Assult

 
 
THE NEW YORK STATE PROCESS SERVER ASSOC., A NAPPS MEMBER, HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN GETTING THEIR LEGISLATION PASSED AND SIGNED BY NEW YORK GOVERNOR CUOMO LAST WEEK.  THEIR LEGISLATION ELEVATES THE MISDEMEANOR CHARGE OF VIOLENCE AGAINST A PROCESS SERVER INCLUDING LETTING OUT DOGS ON A PROCESS SERVER TO A FELONY.
IT GOES INTO EFFECT 11-01-16.
